The
Amalfi Coast is an area which has been intensively settled by human communities since the early Middle Ages and whose architectural, artistic and natural beauty attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Starting with the Great Romantic voyagers – mostly Germans and English – who came from Naples and Rome, all sorts of celebrities, artists, filmmakers, businessman have stayed in Amalfi and visited the other enjoyabletowns of the UNESCO World Heritage “cultural site” Coast,such as Ravello and Positano.


The impressive remains of Pompeii and the famous Roman villas outside the city walls, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79, provide a complete and vivid picture of society and daily life at a specific moment in the past that is without parallel anywhere in the world.
Since it was made accessible to the public in the mid-18th century, Pompeii has been a popular tourist destination and is now the second most visited archeological site in Italy, with around 2.4 million tourists per year. The archaeological areas of Pompei, Herculaneum and Torre Annunziata are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
